Question

Before Parex, what is your experience with helping businesses resolve issues across the full suite of Microsoft products and services?

Ned Rynearson

My association with Microsoft dates back to the inception of the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) program, having cleared 35 Microsoft certification exams since then. My Microsoft journey started in the Air Force, where as a programmer I earned my first certifications in MSDOS and Windows. Over the years, I have primarily focused on Microsoft products and services. I was globally recognized as one of only two Commerce Server MVPs for two years and have co-authored multiple books on Microsoft technologies. In the last decade, my focus has been on the Azure cloud and its architecture, contributing to numerous Azure development and Infrastructure projects.

Question

How does your role as a Technical Lead (EA) impact client success?

Ned Rynearson

In my role as a Technical Lead (Enterprise Architect), I support dedicated consultants and maintenance providers for clients, ensuring our team is a trustworthy go-to technical resource for proactive consulting concerns. My extensive knowledge and specific expertise in Microsoft, particularly Azure, make me an invaluable asset to clients as a lead on these teams.

Question

Can you describe a memorable experience while troubleshooting problems regarding Microsoft services? / Can you share a recent example of a challenging issue you resolved for a client and how you approached it?

Ned Rynearson

One of my notable projects involved proposing a Logic App MS Graph Intune Solution for KeyBank for a client with an unresolved issue. Before we were even halfway finished with completing the project, the client expressed high satisfaction with the results. My goal is not just to meet client requirements, but to set them up for success with the services provided.

Question

What are your preferred strategies to support the timely and efficient resolution of client concerns, especially with complex Microsoft products like Azure and Office 365?

Ned Rynearson

My first step is to meet with the client to gather as much information as possible in order to ensure that the right person is on it. While doing so, I stay up to date on what’s new in the industry so I can integrate Microsoft best practices as much as possible in what we do.
